Could I Raise Titanic?
Could I raise Titanic?
Up from the bottom of the Atlantic
Recover its past
This journey will never be my last
Could I raise Titanic?
From the ocean floor
Even though it won’t matter any more
Chat with passengers
Eat in the dining salon
First class if I assume
And if people laugh
Laugh back; who cares
Could I raise Titanic…?
Not Today… I’m still young

Darkness
We all know we have to fight
To bring back all our light
Hold a lucky four leaf clover
The darkness is taking over
Run a mile
To give a smile
Give a wink
Before you even think!

My Family is like a Farm
My family is like a farm,
My dad is like a cow, He is always
snoring and walking up the whole neighborhood.
My mom is like a chicken, she is
always making breakfast
My twin brothers are like roosters,
they are always waking people up in the morning.
I am like a cat, I am always trying
to clean myself
My bunnies are like pigs, they are
always making a mess.
My cats are like horses, they are
always stinking up the farm
My 20 fish are like ducks, they
always need water
My family is like a farm

My
Family Poem
My family
is like a bunch of bugs,
My
sister is like a bee.
She
stings and stings and stiiings,
But
at other times she’s a butterfly,
Delicate
and nice.
My
dad is like a spider,
Sneaky
and mean.
But,
other times he’s an ant,
Always
collecting food and really nice.
My
mom is like a mosquito,
She bites
and buzzes.
She’s
also a ladybug,
Generous
and nice.
My
dog is like a cricket,
Jumping
and annoying.
Other
times he’s a firefly,
Bright
and playful.
I am
like a fly,
Flying
in your face.
Also,
I’m a lightning bug,
Always
knowing the way.
Together
we’re one Big bug Family.

Farm
My dad is like a cow
he snores and snores all night.
My mom is like a
sheep she yells and yells some days.
If she is not
yelling she is happy and calm like a cat.
My sister is like a
goat
She has such a big
mouth.
I am like a cat, calm.
I am also like a pig; I get dirty.

Colors
Colors swirl
around the world with meanings
Red, means you’re
so mad, and you feel like you’re about to explode!
Orange, means
you’re shy and you never say a word
Yellow, means
you’re so happy that you could bounce off the walls
Green, means
you’re really sick, with a 103 temperature
Blue, means
you’re really sad about something, and your tears are almost flying off your
face
Purple, means
you’re calm, and you could play a six hour board game without getting annoyed
Black, means
you’re a mean person, and you would bully someone for most of the time
Most colors
have different, but important meanings

Royal

Teala is
a queen.
She is
pretty, but she has certain rules.
Cloie is
a princess.
She
prances on her tiny paws gracefully.
Bently
is a king.
He snaps

Shelby
is a herald.
He’ll
bark till his voice is gone to get your attention.

My Family of Sports
My
Mom is football, yelling out
plays like “BRUSH YOUR TEETH!”
My
Dad is golf, always
doing the least he can do
My
sister is karate, always kicking and punching (she’d have a black belt when it
comes to hurting)
I
am basketball, playing as a team and
requires passing

If I Were
in Charge of the World
If I Were
in Charge of the World
I’d
cancel Nukes,
Homework,
shots, and Wars
If I
were in charge of the world
There
would be no school on the weekdays but on weekends,
School
would always be half days,
People
would not have to work,
And
Walmart would be gone.
If I
were in charge of the world.
You
wouldn’t have
pain,
pain,
Death,
or
Elmo.
If I were
in charge of the world
Cars
would run on air,
Meat
would be free,
And
a person who sometimes forgets to shut off his computer,
And
sometimes forgets to remember directions
Would still be allowed to be in charge of the
world.

RESPECT
Respect
Needs love, kindness, responsibility
Happy when people get along
Wants people to be nice,
And forgive when they make up
Fears when people fight
Loves, hugs, kisses, thank you s, and friendship
Sibling of loving and kindness
Always in your heart
Others

If I Were in Charge of the World
If I were in charge of the world
I’d cancel school
Homework
Grounding
If I were in charge of the world
There’d be
More
ATV
UTV
Video games
If I were in charge of the world
You wouldn’t have
School
Homework
And music class
Or chores
If I were in charge of the world
Cheeseburgers from McDonalds would be for lunch
More money for me and my cousin
And a person who is not good at keeping his room clean
And has trouble focusing
Would still be allowed to be
In charge of the world.

Green
It gives us trees
It gives us shrubberies,
colors, sounds, and views
It gives us animals,
a home, and food
It gives us water, happiness and
plants
But the best thing it gives us is
life

If I were in charge of the world
If I were in charge of the world
I’d cancel all the brothers from being mean,
shots,
and also homework
If I
were in charge of the world
There would be more time to spend with
grandparents,
a transporter to Florida so I can visit them
instantaneously,
talking cats,
and no more world war.
If I were in charge of the world
You wouldn’t have pets that die,
You wouldn’t have death,
You wouldn’t have money problems.
If I were in charge of the world
a bad thing would be a good thing,
all candy would be good for you,
and a person who forgets to do his homework
and doesn’t help mom bring in groceries
would still be in charge of the world

My Family Is A
Pack Of Wild Animals
My dad is like an
elephant.
He is the leader of the pack and protects us all.
My mom is like a bear.
She takes care of the whole family and helps us out when we need help.
My brother is
like a lion. He loves
when you don’t bother him but when you do he gets mad.
My sister is like
a deer. She is very nice at times but can
bother you and other objects at other times.
I am like a bunny. I
am always happy and most of the times I don’t bother other people.
All together we make a happy pack of wild animas!

My Family
My mom is light blue, like soft delicate snowflakes.
My sister is light purple, fun and
creative.
My hamster
is orange,
curious and fast.
My dad is dark turquoise, always
funny and happy.
I am pink, loving and friendly.
Together,
our family
is
a rainbow
of happy and beautiful colors
Ice Cream
Ice cream is
a delicious treat
Cold and
sweet.
Ice cream
has many flavors like chocolate or vanilla
I makes you
want to jump up and down for joy
Words
Words float around me all different kinds and
combinations
Noun, verbs, adjectives,
Millions and trillions of words
Words
Words
Words
I imagine words swimming around in my mind spilling out
everywhere
Like a fish out of water.

MY MOM
I had a belly pain,
My mom tried as hard as an animal
Looking for food in the Pacific Ocean
All day long to fix my pain,
She even took a day off her work just for me,
Like a caring kangaroo that never leaves its
joey
Soon it was night time
And my mom found a heating pad
That made me feel all better,
She comforts her child that will always love
her…

My Cats
My cats are
really cute.
Amare and
Oreo.
Oreo is
black and white like a skunk.
She’s a
tired kid.
Amare is a
tabby.
A rainbow of
fur.
She’s an
energetic baby.
Amare is our
monkey.
She is as CRAZY as can be!
Oreo is a
big, fat oreo,
With creamy
filling!
She is a
scaredy cat.
She runs
from Amare
Like an elk
from a cheetah!
Cuddles from
my cats
Make me feel
comforted
Like a joey in its mom’s pouch.

Mom
My mom comforts me in the hospital room.
She hugs me tight as we wait for the doctor.
I lay on my back so the blood stops coming.
I had a band-aid but my mom was a better one.
I know whenever I get hurt,
My mom will be there for me.
I love my mom.

My Brother, The
Sneak
He sneaks
around.
He scampers
toward me.
I’m the
rummaging rhino.
He’s the
puma cat.
He moves
swiftly closer.
He jumps up
like a rocket.
Then hugs
you with all of his strength,
Like a
little superhero.
He sticks to
you like peanut butter.
When he lets
go,
You bob
around like J-ello.
He then
comes in for the win,
And
mercilessly grabs you on the back.
He’s like a
little koala bear that will never stop.
I think he
likes me a little too much!
Let’s get to
the point…
Don’t ask for hugs!

The Train
We walked toward the train
We sat down and waited for the train
Woooooooooosh
A train raced right by us
Like a bold bullet
It wasn’t our train
I saw a train off in the distance
It was going faster than
LIGHTNING
It was our train!
“I can`t wait!
I can`t wait!”
I said in my mind
I said in my mind
New York City
HERE I COME!

Winter Time
I go out
into a wintry scene.
The wind is
stinging my eyes,
Like a sword
piercing through them.
Gladly, I’m
bundled up so I don’t get frostbite.
Snow is
covering my glasses,
Protecting
my eyes from the freezing snow.
I pretend
that I’m climbing Mt. Everest.
It’s SO cold,
BRRRR…..
The swirling
snow makes it impossible to climb to the top of our hill.
The snow
covers my glasses which makes it difficult to see.
I take my
glasses off on our porch.
Showing the
snow my eyes.
Then I slide
down slippery Mt. Everest.
The wind
brushing my hair and
Whistling
like birds in my ears.
I laugh and
laugh as I go down the hill.
Then I
started it all over again.
I try sled boarding
–
The new
sport my brother made up!
Then I fall on
the freezing ground.
But instead
of being upset,
I BURST out
laughing!
I love the winter
time!
Brooke S. 2B
Spring
Oh, I just
love the Spring!
The flowers
blooming in the sunlight
It just
warms me and the blooming flowers.
The sun
shines bright like lava flowing out of a volcano.
The bees, oh
bees
Drinking
nectar all day long
Bzzzzzzz!
The blue sky
is as blue as the ocean.
Spring is my
birthday.
Spring, I
just can’t wait for you to come!

Soccer Ball
It appears to be
A blast of lightning
And fire.
It is as hard
As a piece of
Stone.
It sounds like bold booms
Of thunder.
It is supersonic.
It is as light as a
Thunder bolt.
Swoosh!
Swoosh!
Swoosh!
It goes like a
Cheetah
In the
Goal!

Sandy
Sandy, Sandy
Bang! Crash!
Hurricane so huge and black
Sandy, Sandy
Hurricane so powerful and scary
Sandy, Sandy
Storm like a tornado in the old window
Sandy, Sandy,
Sandy…

My Best
Superheroes
My best
friends are Adam and Tom
They are
nice to everyone
They always
wear a smile
For everyone
around!
They make me
laugh.
They cheer
me up.
We share our
toys.
We play
outside.
They help me
with things.
They are
like superheroes!
I hope you
can find friends like mine!

Mom
The sun shines bright
My mom and I walk hand in hand
The cool breeze hitting my face
The leaves crunching under me
It is cold
My mom holds me tight
We see a deer in the distance
I can see my home
It’s time to say “good bye”
I can’t wait to come again tomorrow!

ME
I am me when
I am with my awesome family and friends.
I am me when
I play with my cool street neighbors,
Fun as can
be!
I am me when
I play all my favorite sports.
I am me when
I hear my two favorite sounds,
Soft as a
light cricket…
Woof!
Woof!
Meow!
Meow!
I am me when
I am in gym.
I am like a rocket on fire.
I am me when
I am with my brother and sisters.

Lucy
My sister,
Lucy, loves me.
Like a mom’s
only child.
I love her
too.
My sister,
Lucy, comforts me.
Like a kind
pet who runs to you when you’re hurt.
I comfort
her too.
My sister,
Lucy, stands up for me.
Like a wall
that never crumbles.
I stand up
for her too.
My sister,
Lucy, is the greatest
She is my hero!

GOLD CROSS
My grandma
gave me a big, gold necklace.
It gives me
a big feeling
That I can
do anything!
My gold
cross,
Keeps me
safe forever!
Like a mom
and dad
That protect
their children.
When my
grandma is not with me,
I wear it.
It reminds
me of her.
