Shadow Man
A man is
following me
I don’t
know who, I don’t know why.
I was
walking, he walked.
I ran, he
ran.
I stopped, he stopped.
I played hop scotch, he copied me!
I walked
inside to get some water. Yes!
He is
gone!
I walked
back out, he was waiting for me!
I put my
hands on my hips and yelled at that man.
”Stop it!
Stop it! Stop it!
Go away,
stop following me!
I’ve had
enough, as you can see.”
My mom
came out to see the fuss,
And I
noticed a cloud pass by the sun.
My mom
told me “stop hollering!”
“The man
made me!”
I pointed
down and when she looked there was only dirt.
