Wants to Play Ball
I am a leaf
I wonder how light I am
I hear children playing
I see a ball getting tossed
I want to play, too
I am too small to play
I pretend I am playing
I feel like I am tossed about
I touch the ball for a brief second
I understand I can’t play
I say I really want to play
I dream I was one of those kids
