Spring Has Sprung

Wind no longer howls,
it is replaced by the sweet
smell of flowers.
Birds sing a song of joy,
while the trees dance to the wind.
But above it all, the sun spotlights it all,
watching I am in awe.
The wind no longer throws itself at my door,
instead it whistles a song of delight.

At night there is a show,
one by one all the stars popped on stage,
each one gives a beam of light,
signaling another to follow.
Once the stage is full of stars, out jumps the moon,
the sunrise wakes me up, and begs me to play.

Chipmunks chattered,and caterpillars rejoice
 that they are now butterflies.
A fawn jumps,
causing everything around him to move.
The birds soar above the trees,
declaring that they rule the skies.

 Dark clouds float in,
bringing a downpour of their tears.
Flowers look up with hope in their eyes.
 They reach out their leaves,
as far as they could, rejoicing.
Trees waved in the wind,
as if to dance with the rain itself.
But soon the sun shines through,
making the dark clouds go away.

  Then a miracle happens,
a rainbow sprouts from the ground,
it propels itself across the vast sky,
seeming like it wants to reach the ends of the earth.
Spring is truly a sight to behold,
 you might find yourself,
 thunderstruck by spring too.
