My roller coaster scare

We got out of the car and raced to the entrance of Hershey Park.  I smelled Cotton Candy in the air.  In the distance I heard the click clack of the roller coasters.  I couldn’t wait to go on the ride Storm Runner.  When I got in line with Matthew our hearts started beating fast and sweat was going down our foreheads.  While waiting on line, I thought to myself I don’t want to ride the roller coaster, but I didn’t want to tell my dad, because he would tease me for the rest of the day.

We finally got on the rollercoaster. At first the roller coaster went slowly and then it took off like a gun shot and I had to keep my head back or BOOM my head would hit the hard back rest. Next was a loop!  We went upside down but it went so fast, it felt like we didn’t even feel it. When I got off the ride I looked at the line and it seemed to be an hour wait. So we did rides like Lighting Racers the Comet, Super Duper Looper, it was so fun.We got in the line for Storm Runner and this time I wasn’t scared. I was confident and I also went with my mom and Matthew’s mom. I love this ride, I said to myself as we rocketed up and down. At the end of the day it got dark and I could still hear the screams of joy and laughter too. I wished the day would never end but it had to, so we moved on and went to other rides. We were still excited for more. At the end of the day, and when it got really dark, I wished I could ride a water ride. My friend Matthew had to leave. My dad, my sister and I went to go get on the ride. As soon as we got in I could tell that we would get soaked because the seat was drenched of water. We went up the ride and when we got to the top we blasted down and a wave hit us like a lightning bolt. We were soaked and the people in front of us were too, but it was fun!  On the way back we had to run because someone else was coming down the slide, so we all hid behind a wall so we didn’t get splashed again. After, we went to get new clothes since we were soaked but then we saw a drying booth. We really had to go in, . But it smelled really bad.  So at the of the day we got in the car, my dad got me a candy bar, and I fell asleep on the way back to the hotel.
